Welcome to the Sierra County Human Resources & Personnel home page. Sierra County currently employs approximately 100 people who provide services and support at locations in Loyalton and in Downieville. The majority of county services are provided in Downieville, the County seat.
Sierra County does not have a Human Resources or Personnel Director; therefore, the duties of these positions are shared amongst all of the County Department Managers. The majority of the Personnel Director duties have been designated to the following Department Managers:
