Effective July 1, 2010 the Sierra County Clerk-Recorder’s office will be reinstating the collection of an additional $1.00 fee for filing every instrument, paper, or notice for record pursuant to Government Code Section 27361.4(b) which pertains to the days of operation of the office. Beginning July 1, 2010 the fee for recording the first page of a document will be increased from $7.00 to $8.00.

Call for Disaster Healthcare Volunteers

Sierra County Health Department’s Division of Emergency Preparedness is looking for people to join Sierra County Disaster Healthcare Volunteers. You do not need to be a medical or healthcare professional to join this volunteer registry. We are also currently in need of translators, veterinarians/vet techs, drivers with Class A & B Licenses, cooks, administrative assistants/secretaries, heavy equipment/machine operators, and any other person who wishes to offer their skill or trade during a time of disaster! All volunteer information will be kept strictly confidential in a secure online registry.
